John Leslie Art Prize

This is a biennial event - it is held every even year.

2020 - 409 artworks submitted by 334 artists. 50 works have been selected as finalists.

The John Leslie Art Prize is one of Australia’s most prestigious prizes for landscape painting, and is open to all artists living and working in Australia. The acquisitive Prize is named after John Leslie OBE (1919-2016), Patron of the Gippsland Art Gallery. The continuation of the Prize is made possible by the generous ongoing support of the John Leslie Foundation.
