Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival is the oldest and one of the largest sculpture exhibitions in rural NSW. The 2022 Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival will be held one month earlier than in previous years.
The weather is much cooler at this time of the year and we know that the valley is at its most beautiful in early spring.
Held over 16 days, from Saturday 10th September to Sunday 25th September 2022, this not-for-profit outdoor and indoor exhibition gives local, regional, interstate and international sculptors an opportunity to exhibit their works in the beautiful rural surroundings of the historic Wollombi Village and valley.
PRIZES:
• $25,000 – First Prize
• $5,000 – Small Sculpture Prize
• $10,000 – Highly Commended Prize
• $250 vouchers – Young Sculptor Prize
• Artist in Residence @The Foundations Portland Prize. Creative residency and $1,000 allowance
• Kangaroo Valley Invited Artist Award - Invitation to exhibit at Sculpture in the Valley 2025 and $500 allowance
