This exhibition will focus on artistic and academic ability, and promote the creative and individual work style. A high level and superior quality of art works will be selected for the exhibition. We also hope that the Guanlan International Print Biennial will promote the exchange of artists around the world and endeavour that Guanlan International Print Biennial becomes the platform and window for people from the world to understand China, also for Chinese to understand the world. We invite you to participate in this exhibition, and sincerely hope that more and more artists come from different countries to participate in this exhibition and to see numerous great print art works.
Eligibility
Artists from all over the world can submit works.
Selection
Preliminary Selection: The jury committee makes Preliminary Selection among the works during early March. Re- Selection: The Chinese and foreign experts to form a Re-selection Board, and select the participating works and Award Winning works during early April and then announce the results.
Prizes
The 2013 Biennial will issue 15 Guanlan International Print Prizes. The prized works will be selected by a jury committee and collected by the organizing committee with a collection certificate and prize certificate and 20 thousand RMB (approx. AUD $3053). Artists whose works are selected for the exhibition will receive a participation certificate, and one catalog of the biennial works. The organizing committee will invite the prize winners to participate the opening ceremony and academic forum and be responsible for the accommodation.
Fees and Commissions
There is no entry fee charged to entrants in 2013.
