Artentwine is a biennial festival of sculpture located in five family wineries in the West Tamar municipality: Goaty Hill Wine, Holm Oak Vineyards, Iron Pot Bay Vineyard, Moores Hill Estate, Tamar Ridge Cellar Door.
The festival’s aim is to feature and promote contemporary sculpture in the Tamar Valley landscape, with a focus on non-traditional exhibiting spaces,  during spring and at the height of Tasmania’s summer tourist season.

Artentwine started in 2008 as an exhibition of Sculpture in two Tamar Riverfront gardens, featuring works by University of Tasmania Lecturers and Students. This successful first year was a catalyst for the formation of the West Tamar Arts Group (WTAG).

In 2010 the event evolved, in partnership with local family-owned vineyards, into the Artentwine Sculpture Biennial. By 2014 the support from West Tamar Council had increased to incorporate a $10,000 Acquisitive prize. The 2016 Festival will again be supported by our Major Sponsors The West Tamar Council and Bell Bay Aluminium.

Artists (including students) who are either currently resident in Tasmanian or who have resided in Tasmania in the past 3 years are eligible to enter.
