The ALA Art Prize is seeking submissions for its 2023 edition that explore the concept of "habitat," a multi-dimensional idea and metaphor for an optimal physical and relational environment. Artists are encouraged to investigate the various expressions of habitat, both natural and artificial, as well as its social and cultural implications. Artists are also invited to present an unpublished site-specific project for the ALA headquarters in Naples at the Teatro Mediterraneo of Mostra d'Oltremare.

Open to foreign nationals in Italy.

PRIZES:

The winning project will be awarded an all-in-one cash prize of €10,000.00 net of Taxes and Withholding applicable by law,, inclusive of the artist’s fee and all costs, such as production and insured transport, related to the artwork, whose property will be transferred without reserve to ALA SpA by virtue of the acceptance of this regulation.

The winning artist will also receive a fee of € 2,000.00, net of taxes and withholding applicable by law. In the case of a collective of artists, the amount is to be considered a blanket fee to the collective and not to the single member
