The Adam Portraiture Award is a biennial competition for painted portraits at the New Zealand Portrait Gallery.

Painted portraits must be of identifiable people and the subject is a New Zealander, who must be known to the artist and aware of the artist's intentions.

Prizes:

  • First Prize - $20,000
  • Runner Up - $2,500
  • People's Choice - $2,500
