Fremantle International Portrait Prize

Biennial Prize held each odd year.

The Fremantle International Portrait Prize (FiPP) began as the dream of a small group of camera enthusiasts in Western Australia’s picturesque port city of Fremantle in 2009. Today, it is Australia’s fastestgrowing and most exciting photographic competition and exhibition.

Prizes:

  • First prize FIPP  - a unique trophy and $5,000 cash (Aus),
  • First prize for the FIPP-Phone is $1,000 cash.
  • Second prize - a Nikon D810 digital SLR camera with a superb Nikkor 24-70mm 2.8 lens (valued at over almost $5,000 Aus),
  • Third prize - professional image editing computer monitor by Eizo, valued at $1,500
  • Broome pearls from Cygnet Bay Pearls - valued at $1,000

The top 30% of entered images (as ranked by the judges) will form the Long List for
the 2017 FiPP-Phone award. The top 40 images will form the FiPP-Phone Short List and be featured at the Showcase exhibition in Fremantle in October-November 2017.
