Head On Photo Awards

Head On Photo Awards is Australia’s premier photographic competition and one of the most prestigious competitions in the world, showcasing innovative Australian and international photography, reflecting a diverse cross-section of new and traditional photographic practices.

A panel of internationally esteemed judges select work without knowing the photographers’ names ensuring a focus on the quality and impact of the image rather than the celebrity or reputation of the photographer or subject.

Head On Photo Awards have been helping photographers create, exhibit and inspire since 2004. Since then they have awarded over $750,000 in cash and prizes to photographers all over the world. The Head On Photo Awards represent a global selection of the best work from emerging and established photographers across three categories;
