This award is held biennially - next due in 2014.

The Mt Buller Sculpture Award will create Australia's first mountain-top Sculpture Park. The biennial Award is designed to develop the Mt Buller Sculpture Park in and around the Mt Buller alpine village in north-eastern Victoria.

Over the next decade and beyond, the Award-winning sculptures will be exhibited in perpetuity in the beautiful mountain landscape of Mt Buller. It is envisaged that the Mt Buller Sculpture Park will join the network of great international sculpture parks around the world.

Judges in 2012
Doug Hall,  was the Australian Commissioner for the Venice Biennale in 2009 and 2011, and director of the Queensland Art Gallery/GOMA from 1987 to 2007.

There is an entry fee of $50.
