BALLET. Ballet (Western Classical Dance) is the foundational technique of the LINES BFA. We teach ballet technique as a science of movement, with progressive emphasis on individual responsibility, exploration, investigation and artistry. MODERN. Freshmen and Sophomore years will be devoted to the study of Horton or Limon techniques. LINES DAY will be conducted by former LINES Ballet company members and/or our esteemed LINES Ballet faculty. If it is appropriate, dancers will be placed in groups for classes according to age and/or level. LINES DAY Workshops may be used as an audition for our 2023 Summer Programs.
